Commanding Officer, Recruiting Station Fort Worth
Major Natalie M. Lamb

Major Lamb enlisted in the United States Navy and reported to Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, in 2000 for recruit training.   Upon completion of training she reported to the Navy Information Systems Technician (IT) "A" School, Naval Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois where she received the rate of IT and was assigned to NAVCOMTELSTRATCOMMU Detachment Fairfield, Travis AFB, California and served as a Watch-stander and Watch Supervisor. In 2003 she received orders and was assigned to LHD-6 Bonhomme-Richard in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF).

 

In June of 2003, she reported to the Naval Academy Preparatory School at Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island. In June of 2004, she reported to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. In 2008, she graduated the Naval Academy and Commissioned as a Marine Corps Officer with a Bachelors of Science in English and a minor in Spanish.  

 

In May of 2008, Major Lamb reported to The Basic School, Marines Corps Base Quantico, VA. Immediately following graduation from The Basic School, she reported to the Basic Communication Officer Course located on Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA. Upon successful completion of the school, she received orders to report to Communications Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 17 aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. In 2010, she deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM (OEF) 10.1 and 10.2 serving as the Camp Commandant and Systems Control Watch Officer.

 

In July of 2011, Major Lamb received orders to the Base S-6, Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, California where she served as a platoon commander and assistant operations officer. In July 2013, she reported to the Expeditionary Warfare School in Quantico, Virginia. In 2014, she attended the Advanced Communication Officer Course co-located aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. In May 2014, she reported to the Officer Candidate School aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia and served as an Academics Instructor.

 

In August of 2014, Major Lamb reported to 3d Radio Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Kaneohe, Hawaii where she served as the Battalion Communications Officer. Following this assignment, she received orders to report to Det A, MWCS-48, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, CA in July 2017, where she served as an Inspector-Instructor.

 

In August 2018, she was promoted to her current rank and assigned to the Operations section, Recruit Training Regiment, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California where she served as the Assistant Operations Officer for the Regiment. In June 2019, Major Lamb was assigned to the Drill Instructor School and served as the Director. In June 2020, she assumed the duties of Commanding Officer of Recruiting Station Fort Worth.

 

Major Lamb's personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with 3 gold stars in lieu of 4th award), and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (gold star in lieu of 2d award).

 

Major Lamb is married to Ryan Lamb from Buffalo, New York.
