Major Jake Crockett

Major Jake Crockett was commissioned in March 2010. Upon completion of The Basic School, he was designated an Infantry Officer and attended Infantry Officer Course.

Upon graduation from IOC in March 2011, he executed orders to 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division. While with V14, he deployed in support of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit as a Rifle Platoon Commander and then again with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit as Company Executive Officer.

In July 2014, Major Crockett transferred to The Basic School and served as a Warfighting Instructor and Staff Platoon Commander. From July 2017 to May 2018, he attended Expeditionary Warfare School.

In June 2018, Major Crockett executed orders to 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division.

During his tour with V27, he deployed as a Company Commander in support of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command and then again as the Battalion Operations Officer in support of Unit Deployment Program-West.

In June 2022, Major Crockett transferred to Recruiting Station San Antonio.

Major Crockett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and Business Management from Hanover College. He is also a distinguished graduate of Expeditionary Warfare School.

His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat “C” device and gold star, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
