Major Keegan R. Kinkade

Major Keegan R. Kinkade commissioned in the Marine Corps in May 2010 from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and underwent graduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
 
In May 2012, Major Kinkade attended The Basic Officer Course and the Infantry Officer Course in Quantico, Virginia. 
 
In March 2013, Major Kinkade reported to Weapons Company, 2d Battalion, 5th Marines aboard Camp Pendleton, California.  In November of 2013, Major Kinkade deployed with Battalion Landing Team 2/5 as the 81mm Mortar Platoon Commander and Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel Force Commander in support of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.  In May 2015, Major Kinkade commanded Fox Company as the small boat raid force for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit during deployment with Battalion Landing Team 2/5.
 
In February 2016, Major Kinkade was assigned to the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group for service as the Exercise Control Officer in Charge and attended the Tactical Marine Air Ground Task Force Integration Course aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. 
 
In March 2018, Major Kinkade joined 1st Battalion, 5th Marines aboard Camp Pendleton, California, and attended Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One's Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona.  Upon completion of the course, Major Kinkade assumed command of Weapons Company and completed a deployment with Battalion Landing Team 1/5 in support of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. 
 
In July 2020, Major Kinkade was reassigned to the position of Operations Officer for 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, deploying with the battalion in support of the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Customs and Border Protection mission along the Southwest Border from August to October 2020.  In November 2021, he completed a deployment with Battalion Landing Team 1/5 in support of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. 

On 24 June 2022, Major Kinkade assumed command of Recruiting Station Phoenix.
