Clarissa Layland, a student from Granbury High School, was among the few applicants selected to attend the Marine Corps Summer Leadership and Character Development Academy held in Quantico, VA. During SLCDA, students are challenged to strengthen their confidence and leadership skills with physical training and scenario-based reaction courses.
