Cpl. Rolando Noriega, a correspondence clerk with Headquarters, 8th Marine Corps District, speaks with fourth-graders about what it takes to be a United States Marine, May 10, 2012, at John T. White Elementary School, in Fort Worth, Texas. The campus, now in its first school year, hosted their first career day where children learned about the opportunities that await them upon graduating from high school. Noriega said the Marines’ presence at career days provides positive role models and gives children a glimpse into life as a Marine.
