Gov. Mary Fallin, the governor of Oklahoma, hands the document proclaiming November as "Marine Month" in the state of Oklahoma, to Maj. Richard Robinson, III, commanding officer of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Oklahoma City. After officially issuing the proclamation, Fallin participated in a traditional birthday cake cutting ceremony as the guest of honor, to commemorate the event at the state capitol here, Nov. 9.
