Maj. Gen. Ronald L. Bailey (right), commanding general of the 1st Marine Division, shakes hands with retired National Football League quarterback Doug Williams at the Grambling State University breakfast before the Texas State Fair Classic in Dallas. The general and other Marines attended the game to provide African-American students with more information on a viable career path in the Corps, during the matchup between two historically black universities, Prairie View A&M University and Grambling State University. Williams was the first black quarterback to play, win and be named Most Valuable Player in in a Super Bowl game. Williams is now head football coach for Grambling.
