A member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity gives his salute to a roaring crowd after culminating a complex stomp routine with a special stunt. The Omega Si Phi University of Oklahoma chapter competed in the 2011 OU Stompdown Showcase, sponsored by the Marine Corps, April 30. As part of their diversity initiative the Marines of Recruiting Station Oklahoma City met with members of the Black Student Association to determine areas in which they could support the black community. This year marked the first time any military service chose to support this event – a fact that has created a positive and mutually- beneficial relationship between the students here and their local Marines.
