TEMPE, Ariz. - Philip Wheat, a student at Arizona State University, is currently working on his PhD in Mechanical Engineering in hopes to one day become an astronaut. To help him accomplish his dream, Wheat chose to become an Marine Corps pilot. Wheat hopes to attend Officer Candidates School at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va. in June 2010.
